Protagonist Motivation
There are a few protagonists in this book, Sunny, Rita, Snickers, and the truck driver, who are always trying to make things better for them and other people surrounding them. They are all friends amd help each other when they are going through hard times and need help or guidence. Sunny help Snickers by rescuing him when he was abandoned, Snickers helped Sunny when he smelled the tornado coming their way, which saved both of their lives, and Rita helped Sunny when she needed someone to talk to and help her through her problems, and the truck driver helped Sunny when he took and watched Snickers for her for a while.
Antagonist Motivation
There is only one antagonist in this book, Starr, who is making life difficult for everyone around her, and she is very mean and rude to people. She is very rude to her foster parents, and her friends. Also, when Sunny finally reached Starr's house, which was her dream, Starr did not want her around and was always trying to avoid her.
Conflict
The problem in this story is that after many years Sunny wants to be reunited with her twin Starr, but she only has a picture to guide her which will be extremely hard to use as directions. Sunny keeps going after rescuing Snickers, being caught in a tornado, and being bullied at a gas station. Sunny keeps on going and finally reaches her destination.
Summary
Sunny Skyland wanted to be reunited with her twin sister Starr, but even after a tornado, rescuing a dog, and being bullied won't stop her and she finally reaches her sister Starr, only to be faced with another big problem. Will Sunny bw able to handle another problem after many problems behimnd her.
